I discovered MxPx years ago by way of a friend-- I heard one song and was hooked. If there ever was a such thing as an old school christian punk band-- MxPx is it. Their music hits a wide range of things from real life issues, to just plain good times. They are controversial sometimes, yes, but never lacking the realism that bands these days seem to have forgotten.
While I was hoping to have seen a couple different of my all-time favorites songs of their added to this Ultimate Collection, I was still happy with most of the songs picked for this release. While there is nothing new featured in this collection, I was still very ecstatic to get this 2 disc set, knowing that on it held a wide array of their best from over the years.
Though, as I said, it holds nothing new within, The Ultimate Collection is a treasure; definitely worth the hardcore MxPx fan's time.
