Passion
Our Love Is Loud

Album length: 13 tracks: 65 minutes and 17 seconds
Street Date: April 9, 2002

Passion does it again by releasing a powerful live worship CD for those hungry for more of God. Our Love is Loud was recorded live on the Passion Experience Tour in Atlanta, Georgia and Irvine, California. With the help of sixsteps artists David Crowder Band, Charlie Hall and Chris Tomlin introducing 9 new tunes such as Crowder's "Wonderful King," Hall's "Sweep Me Away" and Tomlin's "Enough," Passion: Our Love Is Loud will prove to fuel this generation with new worship songs that capture their heart's cry to God. Signature versions of worship favorites sprinkled throughout including Delirious?' "My Glorious" and the City On a Hill original "God of Wonders," round out this project in true Passion.

When I first listened to this album, it sounded similar to a lot of the worship stuff that's already out there. I really wasn't all that impressed as far as a record that will draw me deep into the throne room of God, at least not until I really sat down and listened to the words on some of their newer songs. I believe Charlie Hall really raised the standard to worship with his song "Sweep Me Away." If you let the words of this song penetrate your spirit it will truly let God "sweep" you away into unknown heights with Him. Chris Tomlin's song "Enough" really lets you express to God that He is more than anything on this earth, He is your sustainer, and that He is way more than enough than any of us could truly handle. Another Tomlin song, "Here I am to Worship," just let's you express your heart-felt thanks for what He did for you when He died on the Cross for all of us. This song let's you be the living sacrifice that we are called to be in Romans (12:1-2). The chorus of this song cries "I will never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that Cross." If you truly think about this chorus, none of us really know the price Jesus paid for you and me in order to sing that chorus -- in order for us to nail our sins upon the cross.

This album will release something in you if you move out from being a passive worshipper to an active one. It's a great album for those who are looking for a way to express there heart-felt thanks to God for what He has done through songs like "Famous One," "God of Wonders," and "My Glorious." Then songs like "Dance in the River," "Psalm 126," and "Come Thou Fount" just let you have fun in the River of Life with God.

If your desire and hunger is to go deeper, higher in God like never before in worship, then Passion: Our Love Is Loud will help you get there.
