READER RATING:

I came across this band a little late (last year to be precise). Since then, Wolves at the Gate has been my go-to. The band has grown album after album and each one has brought something fresh, while still being signature WATG. Their 2021 single, "Stop the Bleeding," is a good listen, and as always the lyrics are spot on. WATG has always been Christ-centerd in their lyrics and I hope they will continue to speak truth in a defiant, fallen world.

"All we do is fight, fight, fight! And there's nothing to stop all the bleeding Will we ever strike the heart of the cancer that cuts off our breathing? We're bowing to crowns made of gold, blind to the one made of thorns Still we've got to hold the line when there's nothing to stop all the bleeding Stop the bleeding!"

"Stop the Bleeding" is a great post-hardcore song, and Nick and Steve's clean and screaming vocals get better all the time.
