For nine years Big Idea has been bringing the VeggieTales characters to your video screen along with a Biblical message that is easily accessible to your children and fun enough for even the adults. As VeggieTales has become more widely embraced by the Christian and nonChristian community alike, we've been treated to more and more pleasurable helpings from the Big Idea wizards. In May 2002, the kids are treated to VeggieTales Sing-Alongs: Bob & Larry's Sunday Morning Songs.
Bob the tomato and Larry the cucumber take the kids through 15 tracks of classic Sunday school sing-alongs and a few new favorites. Sunday Morning Songs opens with a jazzy rendition of the classic "This Little Light of Mine," featuring Bob & Larry singing with a children's choir supporting them. Sunday Morning Songs is a great album for the young ones to only sing along to on Sundays but any day. While it might be too much for parents to enjoy on a regular basis, they may delight in teaching their children these songs. Worship is so important and I think music like this will make worship fun and heart-felt for them.
Besides Bob & Larry, some familiar characters offer their presence to help like Mr. Lunt on "My God is So Big," Pa on "Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho" and "Zacchaeus," and Jr. Asparagus on the VeggieTales originals "God's Way" and "Love Your Neighbor."
VeggieTales puts a new spin on old favorites, expanding their Biblically-based resources for the small people. If you're a Sunday school teacher, a children's teacher, or just a parent looking for something good and educational for your child to listen to, VeggieTales Sing-Alongs: Bob & Larry's Sunday Morning Songs is what you need.
