Pax217 consists of Dave Tosti (lead vocals), Jesse Craig (guitar), Josh Auer (bass and background vocals), Aaron "Skwid" Tosti (drums), and Bobby Duran (turn tables). Pax means Peace in Latin and 217 is the reference to Ephesians 2:17 which says, "He (Christ) came and preached peace to you who were far away and to those who were near."

"We look at that verse," Dave says "almost as if it said 'We' rather than 'He.' We're here to preach God's peace in our music and in our lives. People all around us are looking for something to give them hope and peace of mind. We want to point them to the right place." (taken from forefrontrecords.com)

The CD opens with "A.M." (also on the Extreme Days soundtrack) a great rock "sing along" song with changing tempos. "Prizm" is an all-around great song that has a dash of reggae. It was also made into the band's first ever music video. "No Place Like Home" is a song about divorce and how it affect kids. With lyrics like "Mom and Dad come back around breakin' me the family tree gettin' shut down." This song can seriously hit close to home. "Until The Sun," a beautiful ballad, closes the CD perfectly.

A mixture of rock, rap, and reggae, the guys of Pax217 know how to bring forth unique music while glorifying God. I, personally, am already a big fan, and look forward to their future works.
