#6. Jon Foreman
Spring, Summer
Release Date: Spring/Summer '08
|
Even for those that may have become jaded with Switchfoot over the last few years, Jon Foreman’s recent solo
efforts have left little to complain about. It’s stripped down, earthy, emotional, and wonderful. The songs are
honest and the music is crisp and clear. The idea of putting out four different projects that reflect the
different seasons is intriguing to say the least, and I am excited to hear the rest of the series.

Foreman seems to be making a good name for himself as a solo artist and with two EPs under his belt already,
the singer/songwriter will be releasing two more, titled Spring and Summer,
and JfH couldn’t be happier. With his folk/indie feeling evident on each song, it proves there’s much more
to this San Diego native some may have thought...

The mastermind behind much of Switchfoot's fantastic work, Jon Foreman has already set the bar high for himself.
Since his solo work ventures away from the typical Switchfoot sound, these songs should earn him new fans and new
opportunities...

Jon Foreman has a way of capturing the essence of the human soul. I don't think I've come across a musician
who has been able to go through the motions of heartache, joy, and human flaw as raw and accurate as Jon has with
these projects. This community is more than curious to see where he takes us next in the journey of these four EPs...
