#15. Showbread
Anorexia Nervosa
Release Date: May 13
|
Abandoning both the frenetic energies and spacey melodies indicative of their earlier, ever-changing works,
Showbread prepares their most ambitious project yet. A two-disc set, comprised of an astounding 12 tracks each-
the double-album Anorexia Nervosa promises a completely different musical direction, a plethora of guest
appearances (Reese Roper!), art and storyline tie-ins, and a lush exploration of the beautiful and macabre...

Showbread has grown a lot since their pre-Tooth & Nail days. Their debut was amazing, and despite losing some fans with
Age of Reptiles, they didn't lose any quality. Now with Anorexia Nervosa on its way (yeah, TWO CD's!),
Showbread and their ever-changing music style (not to mention Josh Dies' beautiful lyrics) are sure to please
longtime and new fans alike...

and then switching stylistic gears for Age of Reptiles in 2006, Showbread made it clear that they intend to
produce something different with each new effort and my interest is piqued in anticipation of their forthcoming
projects Anorexia and Nervosa...
