#13. Sixpence None The Richer
untitled

Release Date: Sometime 2010
This year? Maybe? The Sixpence reunion made our list last year, and we're still waiting for the Nash/Slocum team's return. But that's okay. When it does come, you know it'll be worth the wait.
        - Jen Rose

In December '08, Matt Slocum informed us that they were writing for the new record in '09. Since the year came and went without a new Sixpence release, here's to hoping 2010 will bring about a mighty return. We're ready, Matt & Leigh, with anxious and eager ears.
        - John DiBiase

With the warmly embraced return of the partnership of Leigh Nash and Matt Slocum, a new album is called for. While My Dear Machine EP was a mostly welcomed project, I know I'm ready for a full-length, and I know the duo is too. Sixpence is back, and we're ready for their arrival...
        - Roger Gelwicks

Even as Sixpence was breaking up, I couldn't believe it. We all knew they had so many more songs left in them, and here is their chance to do so.
        - Garrett DeRossett

It’s been a long time coming, but I’m really keeping my fingers crossed that Sixpence will finally release their comeback album in 2010. Leigh and Matt were originally hoping for a summer 2009 release, but they struggled to find a new label to back them up. Finally, they signed with Credential Recordings and began work on this highly anticipated album. My hopes are set high for this long-awaited album, and I’m very much hoping it will measure up to their other two albums.
        - Matthew Watson

SNTR is always a pleasure to listen to, and having a vocalist such as Leigh Nash makes it even better. Leigh’s vocals are amazing and portray the appropriate mood in all their songs. SNTR released their first album 16 years ago and they still seem like a new band for some reason (in a good way of course).
        - Wayne Myatt
