Having seen this trio in concert for the first time a few months ago, my love for them was rekindled. Three years is a long time between albums, but no doubt the wait will be worth it. Here's hoping their new deal with Fair Trade will bring them more exposure.

Quickly establishing themselves as a unique cultural and creative force with just a few releases under their belts, these gentlemen from Portland give it their all every time they step in the studio, and have shown the city of Portland to be responsible for more than just the things that Portlandia makes fun of. These restless searchers create some of the most interesting hip hop out there, and a new album can't come fast enough.

Beautiful Eulogy is another band that introduced me to an entire genre. Instruments of Mercy was not only my first foray into rap/hip hop, but also one of the most memorable albums of this decade. With a theological depth rarely heard, Worthy is an album sure to inspire, convict, and most importantly, challenge.

Beautiful Eulogy's first two albums are, just "WOW!" All I can say is "WOW!" This is rap for the amateur theologian in all of us, and the most thorough presentation of the Gospel to hit our ears in recent memory. Worthy is very unlikely to disappoint.
