Heath McNease never fails to deliver music that is both thought-provoking and catchy, so I’m interested in seeing what his next release brings to the table. Personally, Who Knows? Who Cares? didn’t wow me as much as his past releases, so I hope the next one will be a return to form. His latest single “Believe” featuring JGivens and Propaganda sounds promising.

Artist Heath McNease has amassed an impressive discography this decade - both in sheer size and in quality. While some projects have been better than others, none have pushed him towards a cookie-cutter slump, and his annual (or bi- or tri-) release is always a joy to look forward to.

Given McNease’s eclectic tastes, who knows what his next offering will be. No matter what, it’s sure to be thought-provoking, profound, and a joy to have the sounds wafting through your ears.

I’ve been a Heath McNease fan since his debut album on 7 Spin Music. That album was a fun hip hop escapade, but McNasty has gone on to become one of the most versatile and dependable independent artists out there. It takes a lot of skill to seamlessly transition from his brand of multisyllabic raps to angelic harmonies, but McNease does it with ease. This next release is sure to please.

Just put McNease on this list every six months. Chances are he’s going something good coming out. But when he starts collaborating with the likes of Propaganda and JGivens, it gets just that more enticing.
