I see the light but I don’t have the strength to fight. So break away from the chains that lock your heart away, and break away from the pain that keeps you from running away and follow my lead. Do you know me? My soul bleeds! If my sin were a shadow it would block out the sun. If my pride were a hand it would reach for the gun. I’m not a monster, but the way I live my life shows me I am. My heart’s a place that holds no hate, but agony. In the inner works my plans are perfect. In my heart you know I find you worth it. I died to give you life, and I’ll live so you can walk by my side.
