Heart on Fire cover
12. New Mountains
Album: Heart on Fire
Artist: Megan Duke

When I thought it was over
Life pulled me back under
Left me lonely and broken
Truth is I broke open

I’ve never been here before
I’m leaning into your love
I’ve never needed you more
Than now

There’s gonna be a new mountain needs moving
There’s gonna be another storm that’s brewing
There’s gonna be a fresh valley needs walking through
So Lord do what you got to do
And make me new

Like gold in the fire
I’m stronger and brighter
Though strain in the molding
I know that you hold me

I’ve never been here before
I’m leaning into your love
I’ve never needed you more
Than now

There’s gonna be a new mountain needs moving
There’s gonna be another storm that’s brewing
There’s gonna be a fresh valley needs walking through
So Lord do what you got to do
And make me new

You lift me up so I can stand
The mountains have to move
When you tell them to
You walk with me until the end
Your promises are true
You’re always coming through

There’s gonna be a new mountain needs moving
There’s gonna be another storm that’s brewing
There’s gonna be a fresh valley needs walking through
So Lord do what you got to do
And make me new

Oh make me new
Oh make me new
Oh make me new
Oh make me new
