I hear an army coming through the garden gate tonight
Just around the bend, just a couple "friends"
But I will wait right here until I feel You near
That's tonight, Adonai

If You save me and strike my enemies
If you change Your mind and call fire from the sky

That's alright, Adonai
That's alright, Adonai
That's alright, Adonai
That's alright, Adonai

Even by the light of torches they don't recognize my face
Has it come to this... the target of a kiss?
But I will stand here still like an easy kill
That's tonight, Adonai

Because if You don't change, if the plan remains the same
Then the trap shuts tight around the Lamb tonight

That's alright, Adonai
That's alright, Adonai
That's alright, Adonai
That's alright, Adonai

By the fire in their eyes they expect a fight
All the wonders and signs are now out of sight
No surprise, it's by God's design
It's just time, it's my time tonight

That's alright, Adonai...
