Verse 1:

How long until darkness breaks
Until dawn awakes
Will you hear our cry
Will You hear us?

Pre-Chorus:

But You see through the night
And break through my plight
All I need
I’ve found in You

Chorus:

My refuge shelter in the deep
My hiding place from the raging of the seas
I will not break for You sustain
In my weakness You remain

Verse 2:

How long ‘till the seas relent
When my heart is spent
Will You break us free
Will You save us?

Pre-Chorus:

But you crash through the dark
To my beating heart
Come Quickly
to save!

Chorus:

My refuge shelter in the deep
My hiding place from the raging of the seas
I will not break for You sustain
In my weakness You remain

Bridge:

And as the mountains fall into the raging of the seas
Still I know your heart it watches and it shelters me
I know it’s mercy just to speak your name to breathe is grace
That Heaven’s love was sent to break me from my bonds of shame

Chorus:

My refuge shelter in the deep
My hiding place from the raging of the seas
I will not break for You sustain
In my weakness

Behind the Song:
This is the first EP from 'The Beautiful Discord'. 'Refuge' is an album that describes the struggles and trials of life, yet keeping in perspective, the truth that we are not alone in the fight. 'Refuge' was written in the midst of trial and struggle with the hope that others will be encouraged to keep fighting and know that we serve a God who will not abandon us to the storms of life.
