Born - as a man - in a clan we - all inherit
Bane - primal pain - scarlet stain that - slays our merit

Called to hold the standard high
Betrayed our God for the serpent's lie instead

Eyes - opened wide - seeking lies - we were found out
Cursed - marked for death - souls bereft - we were cast out

We fight until that final day
Our very selves we cannot slay

Some beast within me cries:
"Take heart to all these lies, embrace the pain of one who's shunned"
Is fighting back really wise, can this beast even die
I cannot end this bane because of this curse within my blood

Trapped - broken flesh - never rest, my monstrous actions
Free - can I be - deliver me, from my affliction
Hope - will be found - king be crowned - triumphant

Oh wretched man inbred with beast
Die now to death and seek release

Some beast within me cries:
"Take heart to all these lies, embrace the pain of one who's shunned"
Is fighting back really wise, can this beast even die
I cannot end this bane because of this curse within my blood

Some beast within me cries:
"Take heart to all these lies, embrace the pain of one who's shunned"
Is fighting back really wise, can this beast even die
I cannot cleanse this plague because of this curse within my blood
