[Chorus]
I’m setting out I’m heading home
Can’t wait to step inside the door
I’m setting out I’m heading home
Can’t wait to step inside the door
[Verse 1]
I’m tired, been like this a while
I’ve been weary feeling dreary after serious miles
I admire what life was like when I was a child
Now it’s quite the grind satisfaction is mild
There’s always so much to do man I’m stuck in a rut
And I’m longing to see my crew because it’s been a few months
Well I guess I should’ve knew that college life would disrupt
Everything I do and totally reconstruct the
Way I live, I guess that’s just the way it is, it’s best that I just savor this
I won’t forget what my savior did, I hate complacent laziness
I lack direction and relationships, it won’t be long before my money gone
Am I leading her on? I wanted to know if I’m wrong and

[Chorus]
I’m setting out I’m heading home
Can’t wait to step inside the door
I’m setting out I’m heading home
Can’t wait to step inside the door

[Verse 2]
Thinking way back to memories of the fam
I cherish the past but still I know where I stand
I wouldn’t be here, I wouldn’t know who I am
I think that it is clear, God shaped me back then
I’m worn out from running these laps, I wanna be where my family at
Missing the peace and the sanity, wishing that I could be free from this vanity
Got a dream team like I’m leading in fantasy, I am like Nemo I’m living and seeing an enemy
I need to be beating him handily I’m winning cause Jesus befriended me down from the heavenly
Ready to go home and rest, left and came back as a guest.
Eager for comfort in bed, no alarm scaring me out of my sleep cycle
I wake up and I read the bible, that is the best, bout to go back to the Midwest
Yes I admit that I missed it I love it I love it I express that I wanna get back and go

[Chorus]
I’m setting out I’m heading home
Can’t wait to step inside the door
I’m setting out I’m heading home
Can’t wait to step inside the door

[Outro]
Setting out, was alone
Going back, to my own
Setting out, was alone
Getting back on track so you know that I started heading home
