Verse 1
When did things get complicated?
Your word is still the same today
An everlasting rock of ages
Faithful every single page

Verse 2
You spoke life into creation
And breathed Your will into the dust
My very being made in Your image
My human heart to find to find Your love

Pre-chorus
I believe every word of the gospel
I believe every word is true
I will hold to the Hope of the gospel
And I will hold this Hope in You

Chorus 1
For God so loved the world
He gave His only Son
I will believe it
I will receive it
This is the gospel of my life

Verse 3
When my mind is full of questions
Like I could never understand
I will lean into the tension
Your word refines my faith again

Pre-chorus
I believe every word of the gospel
I believe every word is true
I will hold to the hope of the gospel
I will hold to this hope in You

Chorus 1
For God so loved the world
He gave His only Son

I will receive it
This is the gospel of my life

Chorus 2
With all my borrowed time
I give You all that’s mine
I won’t be silent
I won’t be quiet
This is the gospel of my life

Bridge (2x)
I will sing Jesus forever
Jesus forever
Jesus forever
You are the way, You’re the truth
You’re the life

When did things get complicated?
The gospel ain’t that hard to see
There’s only one real way to heaven
The good news is that Name is free
For whosoever will believe
