Of the serpent, cursed and cold

Our Perfect Priest and Sacrifice
For God's holy wrath toward sin
When the blood of bulls could not suffice
Christ absorbed it all in him
And the righteous freely gave his life
He was buried in the earth
But our God has raised him from the dead
He will have the final word

Of truth that we have heard
The wisdom of a sovereign God
That the foolish deem absurd
Convict us and convince our hearts
