Verse 1
Bruised and broken
Crown of thorns and walking
Shedding blood right off of his side
Had Satan smiling thinking his plan was working
It was gonna be a dark Friday night

(Chorus 1)
Put your trust in the man who was willing to die
And become a king over every single life because
Come Sunday more he will finish it right
Where the tomb is rolled away
The grave will be empty
Oh and the dead will rise

Verse 2
He walked into that trial, he was locked up in chains
He knew that it was his last day
The judge looked down on him so disappointed
Asked if he had any last words to say

(Chorus 2)
Put your trust in the man who was willing to die
And become a king over every single life because
Come Sunday more he will finish it right
Where the tomb was rolled away
The grave was empty
Oh and the dead began to rise

Bridge
Oh death where is your sting?
Where’s your victory?
Cause there’s a king whose seated on high

(Repeat Chorus 2)
