“I worked on this song for several years. A few of the chord progressions even go as far back as my high school Ska days. It’s basically just a song about rejoicing in God’s goodness. Musically, I think the average listener would catch The Beatles influence is this song. This is definitely a song I’d like Above the Golden State to be recognized by, so I’m going to try and write more songs like this one, that reflect my west coast roots, in the future.
