God and a Girl cover
14. Day of the Lord
Album: God and a Girl
Artist: Joy Whitlock

I waste away
I waste away
Woe is me
The treacherous betray

Heavens silence
Trumpets sound
Peals of thunder
Flashes of lightning
The Lamb upon the altar
I fall down

The moon will be disgraced
The sun ashamed
For on Mount Zion
In Jerusalem
The Lord of Hosts
God Almighty will reign

The Light of Israel
Will become a fire
Their Holy One a flame
It will burn and consume His thorns and briars
In a single day

Praise our God
All you his servants
You who fear him both small and great
Praise our God
Give him glory
For the Lord God Almighty reigns
And the wedding of the Lamb has come
And the bride has been made clean
Death where's your victory?
Death where's your sting?

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Can you hear the heavens roar?
Hallelujah, hallelujah
This is the day of the Lord
