Everything I want from life is inside these walls
So why am I leaving when I hear the siren’s song
A power dark and strong is inside of me
But there’s no use running when you’re all I need
And it’s so cold without your love
And it’s so cold without you love
I’m coming home just to be with you
We shut out the world
Yeah that’s what we do
When it’s just two of us how you find me love
Take me to the life I’ve been dreaming of
‘Cause I’ve been chasing after things that
Leave me alone and poor
When all the loves and riches I could ever want
Are here inside my door
I want to put you first
Where you should be
Return to you my love
Give you the best of me
‘Cause it’s so cold without your love
Yes it’s so cold without you love

Behind the Song:"I was backstage at an awards show early in 2004 and was really working hard to give my publicist plenty of photo opportunities to post on my website. I wanted to show my fans that I had friends in high places. I was in and out of dressing rooms, and I presented four awards in the pre-telecast portion of the show. Much to my disappointment, I failed at getting on TV. But I had a $200 ticket right next to some of the main award nominees, and I felt sure that this would put me in the right spot for plenty of camera shots for the actual telecast.
Minutes before the telecast began, I heard a voice say, “Go home.” I knew it could not be God, because He must have known that this was the night for schmoozing in my industry! The voice grew louder and louder until I knew it was God. It was as if He was saying, “You are trying desperately to be something in your own eyes. You are not doing any of this with my peace or power. Give it up. Let it go! I am the best manager, promoter and publicist you’ll ever have.”
The next morning, I wrote “I’m Coming Home.”" -
