The River cover
06. Burden Down
Album: The River
Artist: Allies

Mama says you're brain dead, bang your head against the wall
Can't find peace of mind, brain need an overhaul
Bone head, brain dead, we're all the same
You can't think straight when your heart is in pain

Turn around, hit the ground, time to lay your burden down

You'll never be enough now might as well give it up
You're playin' round with fire if you think that you're tough enough
Good guys, bad boys, we're all the same
You can't buy love when the price has been paid

Turn around, hit the ground, time to lay your burden down

Don't you forget now that somebody died for you
I'm tellin' you the truth man, I ain't gonna lie to you
Good guys, bad boys, we're all the same
Saved by grace is the name of the game

Turn around, hit the ground, time to lay your burden down
