Honest EP cover
02. Abide
Album: Honest EP
Artist: We Are Messengers

I've made you a last resort
My go to when it all fails
I've chosen to chase my will
Tell me now, tell me now
It's not too late

I need to believe what I've heard is true
That somebody like me could change
That this broken heart could be made new
That I could be rescued
Tell me now it's not too late

I just wanna abide, abide in You
Wanna get lost inside, the way You move
Completely consumed by the weight of Your love
Where too much is never enough
I wanna abide, abide in You
I just wanna abide, abide in You
I just wanna abide in You
I just wanna abide in You

Even in doubt, You don't hide from me
You still show up when I turn away
Your only agenda is love and affection
To carry me through to my redemption
Tell me now it's not too late

I just wanna abide, abide in You
Wanna get lost inside, the way You move
Completely consumed by the weight of Your love
Where too much is never enough
I wanna abide, abide in You
I just wanna abide, abide in You
I just wanna abide in You
I just wanna abide in You

Somewhere my tears can fall
Where I'm not out of place
Trade in my panic for joy
All of my hurt erased
With You, my heart is safe
All my fear is gone
With You, I find my rest
God I'm running home
God I'm running home

I just wanna abide, abide in You
Wanna get lost inside, the way You move
Completely consumed by the weight of Your love
Where too much is never enough
I wanna abide, abide in You
I just wanna abide, abide in You
I just wanna abide in You
I just wanna abide in You
