Joy, Joy cover
11. Joy to the World / For Unto Us
Album: Joy, Joy
Artist: David Phelps

Joy to the world the Lord is come
Let earth receive her King.
Let every heart prepare Him room
And Heaven and Nature sing
And Heaven and Nature sing
And Heaven, and Heaven and nature sing.

Joy to the earth the Savior reigns.
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods, rock, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

For unto us a child is born.
Unto us a son is given.
Unto us a son is given.
For unto us a child is born.
Unto us a son is given.
Unto us a son is given.
And the government shall be upon His shoulder
And His name shall be called
Wonderful, Counselor, the Might God
The Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
The Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

He rules the world with truth and grace
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness
And wonders of His love
And wonders of His love
And wonders, wonders of His love.

Words by Isaac Watts Music by G. F. Handel Arranged by John Mindeman Arr. © 2000 Hill Spring Music (a div of Spring Hill Music Publishing) (ASCAP)
