ATLANTA, Ga. – January 16, 2008 – The Gospel Music Channel (GMC) gives fans a weekly dose of everything Christian/gospel music
with its new weekly primetime series The Kitchen Sink, with new episodes premiering Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
This Sat. Jan. 19, appearances and performances by GRAMMY nominated rockers Pillar and rising hip-hop artist Canton Jones
are among the show’s highlights.
Pillar, which will find out if it wins its first GRAMMY Award on Feb. 10, comes to The Kitchen Sink to preview the Oklahoma-based group’s upcoming new release For the Love of the Game. Canton Jones is one of Christian music’s rising stars in the Urban Gospel and Holy Hip Hop genre. He shares music from his upcoming release Kingdom Business. Also on this week’s The Kitchen Sink: a visit to the House of Blues in West Hollywood for its weekly gospel music brunch.
Artists scheduled to perform on The Kitchen Sink in the weeks ahead include: Aiyesha Woods, After Edmond and Joann Rosario.
The Kitchen Sink is an hour-long music performance, news, entertainment and variety program and is the only national show of its kind featuring Christian and gospel music.
