NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Verity recording artist and Christian music’s premier Latin Gospel singer/songwriter, Joann Rosario, hosted the Gospel Music Channel’s red carpet interviews at last week’s Stellar Awards in Nashville. Rosario (right) is pictured with Tamela and David Mann, co-stars of the March 21 Lionsgate Films motion picture, “Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns.”
Joyous Salvation, Rosario’s critically-acclaimed third recording released last year, debuting at #13 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart. The album was produced by Aaron Lindsey (Israel Houghton, Martha Munizzi), Fred Jerkins (Brandy, Kierra “KiKi” Sheard) and Chris Rodriguez (Salvador). Rosario co-wrote nine of the project’s 10 selections, inspired by physical healing and spiritual renewal following a vocal chord injury that left her unable to speak or sing for an extended period.
