Disciple INO Rockers Disciple’s new song “In The Middle of it Now” will be among the tracks featured on “WWE: The Music Vol. 8.” The song was specially written for the record which will hit stores on March 25, and includes tracks from other rock artists such as Saliva, Axel and Airbourne. “WWE: The Music Vol. 8” unleashes right in time for WWE's biggest bash of the year, WrestleMania® XXIV live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 30 at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. WWE has sold more than six million CDs worldwide with five WWE Group album titles debuting in the US Top 10.

WWE stars Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder will also be using the new rock anthem “In The Middle of it Now” as the duo’s theme song.

“We were totally excited when we heard it because we wanted something different unlike anybody else on the show,” says Hawkins. “It definitely gave us a good kick start in the right direction.” Be sure to check out an interview with the star wrestling pair and Disciple lead vocalist Kevin Young in the latest WWE Superstar to Superstar feature. http://www.wwe.com/inside/superstartosuperstar/exclusives/s2shawkinsryderdisciple

The rock powerhouse group also raked in two Gospel Music Award nominations from their sophomore project Scars Remain. The album is nominated for “Rock/Contemporary Album” and their multi-format radio hit “After the World” is nominated for “Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song.” The 39th annual Gospel Music Awards will air live on Gospel Music Channel on April 23.

The Knoxville, Tenn. foursome’s first self-titled studio release Disciple (2005) sold nearly 100,000 units and brought home three No. 1 hits. Disciple has also been nominated for a whopping eight Gospel Music Awards, and their sophomore album “Scars Remain” (2006) has already garnered a No. 1 hit. “Game On” from their sophomore project also received massive placement in sports shows across the country including “Best Damn Sports Show,” NFL’s “Total Axxess”, WWE’s “Cyber Sunday” and Speed TV’s “Speed Report,” as well as venues such as Wachovia Center in Philadelphia and even Madison Square Garden in New York City. The single was also used in promotion for “Criminal Minds” and “CSI Miami.”
