(April 3, 2008 – Nashville, TN) — Christian luminary Anthony Evans, who has anointed Christ followers nationwide and is the newest signing to EMI Gospel, is scheduled to release his latest CD, THE BRIDGE, June 10th. THE BRIDGE, Evans’ 3rd studio album of his career, is a worship-based project that includes several celebrated worship songs, such as "Blessed Be Your Name," "Here I am To Worship" and "Glory To The King," which is scheduled to impact CCM radio in April. At the same time the full project will impact gospel radio. The complete album is a blend of pure contemporary vocals and worship inspired instrumentation. THE BRIDGE was produced by Evans and Nathan Nockels for Anthony Evans Music.
THE BRIDGE was birthed from Evans’ struggle between the crossroads in his spiritual life. “This record came out of pain,” explained the singer. “When I got to the end of myself and surrendered to the concept of what I was created to do, I realized I wasn’t made to figure it all out. I wasn’t put here to see the big picture clearly, or to glimpse what is ahead. I was created to worship.”
In a genre all by himself, this critically acclaimed artist is currently touring across the country to promote THE BRIDGE. Averaging 100 church dates throughout the year, upcoming tour stops include: Honolulu, HI on April 6, Lancaster, PA on April 11, Houston, TX on April 13, Las Vegas, NV on April 20, and Coral Springs, FL on April 27.. THE BRIDGE follows his first two projects, Even More (2004) and Letting Go (2005).
