NASHVILLE, Tenn.— In conjunction with Pope Benedict XVI’s recent U.S. visit, Dove Award-winning Word recording artist Salvador performed at the Papal Youth Rally at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers, New York, which was attended by an estimated 25,000 people. Pictured onstage at the rally are the members of Salvador. Known for their show-stopping, improvisational live performances, the acclaimed Latin/pop band is currently appearing across the country, and the group is slated for a European tour later this spring.
Salvador’s eighth recording, Aware, which hit stores yesterday, was produced by group members Nic Gonzales and Chris Bevins, along with Otto Price (dcTalk, GRITS). Aware features 11 selections exploring themes of thankfulness and selflessness.
