
On Wednesday, May 14th fans throughout the U.S. can tune into NBC's Today Show to catch CeCe Winans in the ten o'clock hour
chatting about her upcoming participation in AARP's star- studded 50th Anniversary musical. The once in a lifetime mega-event is
directed by Golden Globe, Emmy and Tony award -winning producer and choreographer Debbie Allen featuring heavy-weight female
vocalists such as: Chaka Khan, Dionne Warwick, Queen Latifah, Patti Austin, Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams, Ann Nesby and
others. The two-hour event titled Songs of Soul and Inspiration will take place at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA and is

Winans has been on a fast track for the past month promoting her new CD, Thy Kingdom Come ( PureSprings Gospel / EMI) laying claim to her third consecutive #1 debut on the Billboard Gospel Charts and her seventh #1 overall on the charts after the release of her eighth solo CD in April. The first single, "Waging War" received the most increased plays at R&R during the first few weeks of release and landed in the Billboard's Hot Box as top selling Gospel CD of the week. As part of the marketing plan Verizon customers were able to download the single, "Forever" as a full-length song, ring tone and ring back via their V-Cast service. Thy Kingdom Come still maintains top positioning on charts as the label gears up for the second gospel single, "It Ain't Ova", written and produced by Percy Bady. In addition single, "Test of Time" going for adds at Christian Radio.
