We got this email yesterday from the director of The Imposter movie, Daniel Millican. The indie film stars
singer Kevin Max's acting debut as well as former Sonicflood front man, Jeff Deyo...
"Hey guys, I've just posted a Behind the Scenes interview with Kevin about his role in the upcoming movie "The Imposter." Link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZS9Ugc0mh0Post production is cruising along. Right now we've "locked" the picture which is a movie term for finishing the rough edit so that sound and music people can jump in and start their magic.
We've got lots of music in the movie including a new song just for the movie sung by Kevin Max (entitled "Believe (is an Act)"). We've also got a new song sung by Jeff Deyo who also stars int he movie.
And finally, we're working with famed muscian/writer Kerry Livgren (Kansas, AD, Proto-Kaw) to create a brand new cover of Kerryr's famous song "Carry On Wayward Son" sung by Kevin. (Kerry wrote the song back int eh seventies while with Kansas, right before he became a Christian).
As the writer/director, I'm pleased with our progress. I believe the movie will become available sometime in the fall, depending on which distributor we end up going with. And for those who think this will be another walk-down-the-aisle cliched Christian movie will be pleasantly surprised.
