Rynn (NASHVILLE, TENN.) -- Rynn's self-titled debut album, which hits stores nationwide June 17th is the first contemporary Christian album release from legendary Gospel label MCG Records. Label president James Bullard discovered the talented singer through a mutual friend, and knew that she was the right artist to take to the contemporary Christian music world.

“From our very first meeting, Rynn impressed me with the fact that she has an indescribable ability to connect with people on-stage and off,” says Bullard. “Her love for Christ shines through in her heart, her eyes, her personality and most assuredly, her voice.”

At the age of 4, the pastor‘s daughter captivated the hearts of her Dad’s entire congregation with a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday Jesus" - complete with chocolate cupcakes and candles. “It probably wasn’t my all-time best performance,” reminisces Rynn. "But my Mom tells me a face-without-a-smile was nowhere to be found.”

From this memorable debut performance, the Houston native went on to become a featured soloist in not only her church choir, but also the traveling Louisiana All-State Choir. In her college years, Rynn also traveled extensively as a member of a praise and worship band performing in churches all across the country. “I think Jesus’ followers were all adventuresome spirits,” explains Rynn. "Like me, they loved to share the Gospel wherever they were. My choir trips along with my father’s evangelistic travels instilled in me a lifelong love for exploring God’s precious gifts of people, places and purpose."

With an ear for great songs, and a voice as big and beautiful as her heart, Rynn puts an unmistakably soulful vocal signature on ten of 2008’s more memorable songs from some of Christian music's most celebrated songwriters like Reggie Hamm, Sam Mizell and Jason Ingram. The album also includes a breathtaking reprise of U2’s musical prayer "Yahweh."

Rynn debuted her songs at Gospel Music Week in Nashville, where her full band shared the stage with artists like Martha Munizzi, Kevin Max and Chris Sligh. She will be touring the USA in promotion of her debut album through the fall, with extensive media coverage including interviews with Women Today Radio, GodTube.com, GospelMusicChannel.com, Youth Network TV, Fire Escape Radio and many others. Her debut radio single, "All That I Need," is currently receiving airplay nationwide.

Rynn was released on June 17, 2008 by MCG Records and Infinity Music Distribution, a division of Central South Distribution.
