According to an announcement from Family Force 5's guitarist Chap Stique, FF5 front man Solomon "Soul Glow" Olds was among a group of friends to pinch sing for Dallas of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster when he was too sick to play a recent date. Here's Chap Stique's announcement as well as a fan made video of Solomon in action...
"What's going on, everybody?
We just wanted to share a legendary moment with you guys. Dallas from Maylene and the Sons of Disaster (one of our favorite bands on the Warped Tour) was very ill and unable to sing. So they grabbed friends, tour managers, merch guys, fans and lead singers from other bands to do metal karaoke. They wisely asked Soul Glow to fill in for a tune, and he delivered an amazing performance on the song "Dry the River." Crouton and I snuck in to show our respects for Dallas. I wish you could see his Crouton's stage dive. It was hilarious.
Please check it out and tell us what you think. We love Maylene.
