

Nashville, TN—Grammy-nominated worship band SONICFLOOd is slated to perform an acoustic set during the Wednesday morning Prayer Breakfast during the National Republican Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 3rd, 2008. Former Congressman J. C. Watts will serve as a guest speaker for the event.
“Being asked to lead worship at the Republican National Convention Prayer Breakfast is a great honor as we believe in the importance of being truly engaged as God's people in every aspect of life... especially in the area of politics,” states lead singer Rick Heil. Heil and his wife are co-chairs for the Faith and Values Coalition for McCain. Heil recently performed at the Tennessee Annual Statemen’s Dinner in Nashville, TN.
SONICFLOOd will also release their new studio album, A Heart Like Yours, on September 9th, 2008 on Resonate Records (Word Distribution). The first single from the album, “Look to Love,” is currently going for adds on radio. SONICFLOOd will begin touring in support of the album in the Fall.
