(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Sept. 29, 2008 – Members of Forefront Records rock band Dizmas
have joined Josiah Venture to bring music and evangelism to Eastern Europe. The band will serve as team members with Josiah
Venture for the “Exit 316 Tour” this October and November in the Czech Republic.
Frontman Zach Zegan first experienced the Czech Republic in March 2008. During his short trip to the country, Zegan fell in love with the Czech culture and witnessed Josiah Venture’s passion to reach Eastern Europe through music and evangelism.
“As you might imagine, we have a huge opportunity to impact this country with the truth of the gospel,” says frontman Zach Zegan. “In fact, we have been told that we are the first Christian band to be allowed to play in Czech schools in the last 50 years. We consider this opportunity an honor and would like to ask for your prayers as we begin this new adventure.”
After much prayer, Zegan and band mates Jonathan Howard, Nick Aranda, Clayton Hunt and Joshua Zegan accepted the invitation of Josiah Venture to help reach the youth of Eastern Europe by putting together an 8-city tour.
Fans around the world will have the opportunity to follow the band’s journey at http://dizmasmusic.blogspot.com. The blog will include video and blog updates from Dizmas while the band members serve in the Czech Republic.
