Jeremy Camp, Demon Hunter, and The Almost fans (among others) will be thrilled to hear that they can get the latest releases from some of their favorite artists a day early. Today EMI Distribution's Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Greg Bays, announced the release date change for their projects from Tuesday, November 25th to Monday, November 24th! Below is the announcement...
"EMI Music Marketing, the mainstream distribution division of EMI Music, has decided to move the Street Date for all Tuesday, November 25, 2008 releases up one day, to Monday, November 24, 2008 in the mainstream market to be competitive during Thanksgiving week.
EMI Christian Music Group does not want retailers in the Christian Retail Market to be at a competitive disadvantage during Thanksgiving week, so we are matching this Street Date change.
Please make note that all titles scheduled to release on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 may be placed on the shelf for sale on Monday, November 24, 2008."
