Indie singer/songwriter Joy Williams has just announced her latest venture -- the formation of her first band, called
The Civil Wars. Below is her announcement...
"No More Secrets! At long last, I can finally tell you about something I'm very excited about. On top of working on my own music, I'm working on a new band project with John Paul White - a truly amazing singer, songwriter and guitarist. We are only still scratching the surface of what I feel is bigger than the both of us, and we will both be updating you as often as possible with music, videos, and show dates. In the meantime, check out the video we’ve made and download a free MP3 we recorded of Leonard Cohen’s “Dance Me to the End of Love”.
