Family Force 5, who won Artist of the Year in Jesusfreakhideout.com's 2009 Reader's Choice Awards for the second consecutive year, has announced plans to record a Christmas album for release this Fall. In a new audio blog, front man Solomon "Soul Glow Activatur" Olds states, "All I'm gonna say is, right now, we're working on a Family Force 5 Christmas album. Should be coming out this Fall. That's right, we just had Christmas. I know you're probably not even in the mood for Christmas stuff right now, but we're having to get into the mood!" Olds then asked the listeners to post recommendations for Christmas recordings on their MySpace, insisting that if a song got enough votes, the band will record it for the release. During the blog, an electronic drum loop can be heard playing in the background, which Olds reveals is for a cover of "These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things."

In the meantime, Family Force 5 is planning to release a remix album of their 2008 release, Dance Or Die, entitled Dance Or Die With A Vengeance on May 19th, featuring remixes by The Secret Handshake ("Dance Or Die"), Danger Radio, and 303, among others.
