Ten years after the Paul Colman Trio released its first CD Serious Fun,
and five years after it disbanded, 'pc3' will reunite for a tour of Australia and New Zealand this October.
The group that changed the face of Christian music down under with its engaging and entertaining performances recorded four studio and two live albums, garnered a Grammy nomination, a GMA Dove Award, TRAA Awards for song and artist of the year, plus a slew of hit singles in the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
The 13-city Australian leg of the tour starts in Perth on October 2 with performances set for Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Townsville, Albury/Wodonga, Canberra, Taree, plus Sydney's legendary Blackstump Festival.
Lead singer and guitarist Paul Colman says the trio decided to reunite for the tour following its highly acclaimed "one-off" reunion performances at Easterfest 09.
"We had something very special as a band," Colman admits. "And that was obvious when the creative juices began flowing again at Easterfest 09. Now we're looking forward to touring together, playing your favorite pc3 songs, singing some new ones, plus recreating that seriously fun onstage experience again so more people can enjoy it."
Tickets for the pc3 reunion tour go on sale 24 August.
