Nashville, Tenn. (March 16, 2010) – Women of Faith will release their highly-anticipated worship project Women of Faith Worship on April 28, 2010 for the first time through Thomas Nelson.
Releasing on the heels of two recent 2010 Dove Award nominations for Praise & Worship Album of the Year and Inspirational Album of the Year with A Grand New Day (Women of Faith Worship Team; Chance Scoggins; Myrrh), Women of Faith Worship features the talented members of the Women of Faith Worship team as they join forces to provide musical leadership at the nationwide Women of Faith events.
With soaring vocals, the 10-track CD features songs from some of today's top songwriters, and includes well-known songs like “Amazed,” “Indescribable” and “Healer” as well as some new tracks like the lively and inspirational “Just Wanna Say.”
The Women of Faith Worship team pulls the listener into a meaningful worship experience with a mix of up-tempo and introspective songs in Women of Faith Worship. Featuring the tight harmonies and effortless vocals that characterize the Women of Faith sound, the 2010 worship CD highlights the official ensemble of Women of Faith made up of Allison Abbott, Laura Cooksey, Janice Gaines, Corrie Henson, Michelle Swift, Jennifer Thigpen, Kara Tualatai and Jovaun Woods.
Along with the release of Women of Faith Worship, the Women of Faith Worship team will also embark on two simultaneous 2010 Women of Faith tours this spring (“Over the Top” and “Imagine”). Visiting 29 cities across the country, with “Over the Top” hitting the East Coast and “Imagine” covering the West Coast, the Women of Faith Worship Team will join a diverse line up of musical artists, speakers, authors, and performers coming together to create one-of-a-kind life-changing weekends for women nationwide. Women of Faith is currently the nation’s largest live event for women that has reached more than 4 million women since 1996.
