For authors Alex and Brett Harris and the members of BarlowGirl, all in their teens, 20’s and early 30’s, it’s more than an encouraging verse to take to heart… it’s a life-calling, a battle cry for their generation.

The Dove award-nominated Christian band teams up with the Harris Brothers, authors of “Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations” and founders of The Rebelution blog, for the “Come Alive Experience,” a conference designed to help people discover the life and destiny God has for them.

The conference will feature dynamic, relevant teaching by the Harris Brothers and BarlowGirl, as well as worship and a BarlowGirl concert.

“We really want this generation to grasp the weight of why we’re on this earth, for people to find out why they’re living, why God put them here,” the band says.

“He put them here to change the world. He put them here to make history. We really hope, at the end of the day, they will have been challenged to find out their calling.”

The conference will be held May 1 at Life Changers International Church in Hoffman Estates, IL from 12:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Doors open at noon.
