"It's the opposite of the 360 deal that record labels are offering these days," says Indieheaven and Broken Records founder Keith Mohr. Unlike most deals today, Broken Records won't demand a percentage of an artist's merchandise sales, live performance and other income.

"We'll leave it up to our artists to sow back into the label to help everyone grow and go as they see value in our partnership,” explains Mohr. “It is a different way of approaching the artist/label dynamic, and one we believe will be beneficial to all. We must be different than the mainstream music industry and lead the way in this new and exciting time!”
