Nashville, TN (July 28, 2010) ----- Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter, Andrew Peterson, released his second project for Centricity Music yesterday, Counting Stars. Strong early support has placed the album at #1 on iTunes Christian Album Charts. Peterson’s lyrics and heartfelt approach to his music immediately connects with his fans. This is evident by the rave reviews already posted on iTunes.
"This is a very strong album, Andrew Peterson is probably one of the greatest Christian lyricists of all time..."
"It seems to me that this album follows in the footsteps of artists like Rich Mullins - bringing songs to the table that are warm and draped in the lyrics of the soul. Absolutely amazing."
"This album will be on every Christian music reviewers Top 10 list come December. “In the Night My Hope Lives On” is an amazing song. It is just a stunning album start to finish."
Peterson has started a two-week promotional tour to support Counting Stars and he will return to Nashville August 6th for the launch of his first annual arts conference, Hutchmoot 2010. The event will kick-off with a CD release party by Peterson for the attendees.
