NASHVILLE, Tenn.— “Let It Out,” the third single from VSR Music Group recording artist Chris and Conrad’s self-titled debut, will be serviced to Christian radio formats this week. Penned by Chris Kuti, Conrad Johnson and Jeff Pardo, “Let It Out” follows Chris and Conrad’s hit “Lead Me To The Cross,” which was the #7 Christian song of 2009, according to Billboard magazine, and the duo’s Top 15 single “You’re The One.”
“In writing 'Let It Out,' we wanted to be honest about the struggles we have as believers,” said Chris and Conrad’s Chris Kuti. "We think we need to have it all together, but in actuality so many Christians are struggling with things like their marriages, finances and relationships with their children. But when we take off the mask of deception and admit that we need a Savior, that’s where we find peace, healing, forgiveness and growth in this journey.”
“We’ve been seeing ‘Let It Out’ connect with our audiences on the road—so many people are coming up to us after shows and thanking us for the song,” added Conrad Johnson of Chris and Conrad. “To know it’s really touching people is so encouraging and helps keep us going as artists.”
Chris and Conrad will perform “Let It Out” as special guests on 33Miles’ “The Today Tour” this fall. Also featuring special guest JJ Heller, the tour is slated to kick-off September 16 in Lubbock, Texas, and will make stops in St. Louis; Vineland, New Jersey; Madison, Wisconsin; Pensacola, Florida; and Oswego, New York, among other cities, before concluding November 20 in Omaha, Nebraska.
One of Christian music’s leading new artists, Chris and Conrad’s self-titled VSR Music Group debut released last year. Earlier this summer the duo headlined the 26-city "Listener Appreciation Tour 2010." Featuring special guest Tal & Acacia and introducing Living Anthem, the free concerts were sponsored by World Vision and hosted by Christian radio stations across the country. Chris and Conrad have also toured with Big Daddy Weave, Phil Wickham and Jonny Diaz, in addition to appearing on World Vision’s “WinterBlast Tour” with Building 429, MIKESCHAIR and Britt Nicole.
