Twelve years after pc3 (Paul Colman Trio) released its first album Serious Fun, and seven years after it took a "break", the trio reunites for a tour of Australia and New Zealand this April.
The group that changed the face of Christian music in this country with its engaging and entertaining performances recorded four studio and two live albums, garnered a Grammy nomination, a GMA Dove Award, TRAA Honors for song and artist of the year, plus a slew of hit singles in the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
The seven-city Australian leg of the tour starts on April 13 at Avondale School, Cooranbong on the NSW Central Coast with multiple performances set for Sydney, Melbourne and the legendary Easterfest festival in Toowoomba, plus one night appearances in Adelaide, Perth, and Launceston.
Lead singer and guitarist Paul Colman says the trio first spoke about a tour following its highly acclaimed "one-off" reunion performances a couple of years ago.
"We had something very special as a band," Colman admits. "And that was obvious when the creative juices began flowing again. Now we're looking forward to touring together, playing your favorite pc3 songs, singing some new ones, plus recreating that seriously fun onstage experience again so more people can enjoy it."
The trio is recording a new album which will be released to coincide with the tour.
