(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) -- Award-winning producer and artist Benjah will release his latest album The Break-Up on September 27th via Jahmen Music Group and 220 Entertainment, with distribution through Universal Music Christian Group and Fontana Distribution. The highly anticipated album features guest performances by Rachael Lampa, Group 1 Crew, Dillavou, Andy “C-Lite” Mineo, Ron Kenoly, Jr. and more.

On The Break-Up, Benjah has created a refreshing blend of hip-hop, R&B, reggae and power pop that is sure to resonate with fans of musical contemporaries like Lecrae, TobyMac, Drake and Rihanna. For his latest album, Benjah enlisted GRAMMY® nominated, Dove Award winning producer/writer Justin “Sky” Boller (Group 1 Crew, Lecrae, Shaggy) to help craft his unique sound.

“Naturally, I write vibey, organic, guitar driven music,” says Benjah. “However, with my new project I wanted to evolve and develop my sound. I had spoken with Sky several times about collaborating, and he finally agreed! Even though we have very contrasting styles, it didn’t take long for us to create great chemistry in the studio. We are now a legit production/writing team and you have heard our sound on new albums from Lecrae, Tedashii and Trip Lee.”

In support of The Break-Up, Benjah will be touring this fall with Hawk Nelson, Fireflight, Superchick and others on the Music with a Mission Tour. Being on one of the season’s largest tours will provide Benjah with an opportunity to connect with fans throughout North America.

“I love touring and sharing my passion through a high energy show, sharing with the world what the Lord has given me,” he explains. “I choose to write metaphorically a lot in order to reach beyond the walls of believers, but I also balance it with testimonial songs for the body of believers, speaking of Christ’s faithfulness to me regardless of my imperfect human ways.”

Benjah produced and was featured on Lecrae's GRAMMY® and Dove Award nominated album Rehab, and he took home a Dove Award for producing/writing with Group 1 Crew. More recently, he produced and was featured on Tedashii’s new album Blacklight, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart.
