In theatres Sept. 30, Courageous drew more than one million viewers its first weekend, earning nine million dollars, an A-plus CinemaScore and rave reviews from national critics. The movie features title track “Courageous,” written by Casting Crowns frontman Mark Hall and recorded by the group. The song earned the most increased AC spins this week, making it No. 4 on the Billboard National Christian Audience Chart. Also in the film are songs by Third Day, Brandon Heath, and Mark Harris plus two moving score tracks by composer Mark Willard.

The Courageous movie soundtrack also features inspired songs including No. 1 hits "Lead Me," by Sanctus Real, and “Revelation” by Third Day.
