St. Louis, MO (April 17, 2012) ---- ROXR Records is happy to announce the signing of their latest CCM artist, Raymond Gregory, and the release of his debut single, "You Are Faithful." It truly is a modern day miracle that this announcement is even happening, considering Gregory was legally deaf as a child and was healed through intercessory prayers. You Are Faithful was written by Gregory and is a soaring hopeful song that chronicles the struggle he had with his medical condition and the joy from God restoring sound into his life. The single will debut on iTunes April 24th and will go for adds at radio May 7th. The tune is from Gregory's full length, Your Mercy To Me that will release mid-summer. The project was produced by Keith Everett Smith and Gregory and will be distributed through Inpop Records.

"The point I try to stress in the song is that no matter what season you are in the Lord will always remain faithful, whether you're experiencing prosperity or tragedy," explains Gregory. "There are truly no 'unanswered prayers.' God is always faithful to answer us, just in different ways."

Gregory was diagnosed with degenerative hearing loss, which came after a bout with spinal meningitis as an infant, and the condition worsened in the coming years. Not to be deterred even though he was legally deaf, Gregory was fourteen when he started playing guitar at full volume and remarkably became very skilled with his new talent. Then miraculously, after fervent prayers from his family and church, Gregory woke up one morning with a new sensation.

"I remember a day when I could actually hear leaves rustling outside and also hearing my mom much more clearly in conversation," Gregory explains. "I kept telling my parents, 'I think I'm getting better,'" but in the beginning they were very cautious in their reaction. They took me to an audiologist who said I was showing surprising improvement. They tested me again in a few months and continued to do so to the point where I was no longer legally deaf!"

The California-based singer/songwriter then began his music ministry in earnest, and after marrying his high school sweetheart upon graduation, Gregory landed a worship leader position at a small church. He was eventually led back to his home church, Harvest Ministries, and quickly became the full-time worship leader at the Riverside and Orange county campuses, along with Greg Laurie's Harvest Crusades. This is a position he still holds to this day.

"It's just unbelievable to think ten years ago I was just getting my hearing back, and now I'm leading worship at Angel Stadium for 45,000 people."

Gregory has released two albums independently before signing with ROXR Records earlier this year. He has toured regionally with other high-profile artists such as 10th Avenue North, MercyMe, Jeremy Camp and Kutless. Even though Gregory is a worship leader, his new project Your Mercy To Me lends itself to the Pop/Rock sound and firmly establishes this talented singer/songwriter as a CCM artist.
