Sister duo Tal & Acacia have begun work on putting together their second studio album, Black & White, but need fan support to fully produce the new recording. The twosome released their debut album together as "Tal & Acacia" back in 2009, titled Wake Me, via Essential Records, exclusively in digital format before re-releasing it in early 2010 on CD. Last year, Acacia teamed with Superchick guitarist Dave Ian for a special Christmas project he put together, while the sisters last released new music together on the compilation Freedom: Artists United For International Justice Mission in late 2010.
Tal & Acacia had this to say about the Kickstarter project, "Tal & Acacia are in the process of professionally recording a new album for you! The sisters are currently tracking over 20 songs with plans to release an album entitled "Black & White." The duo has branched out independently in 2011 to further explore creative initiative. For quality mixing, mastering, etc.–your pledge will make these efforts reality and also bring sweet things to your email, mailbox, and earbuds. Let's go!"
Kickstarter perks include the new album on CD, a digital-only release of the album, or Black & White on vinyl, as well as a special t-shirt, iPhone 4/4S case, Black & White making-of book, special concert events and more. Check it all out and support them here!
